You're cool, lets just bump a old thread 6 days old. If the people would understand that you kill this thing latr on in the missions then these threads wouldn't exist.

If you could read a start date for a thread you would realize this was made day after launch (after thread was posted answered a lot of questions for other people, and most just ended up just killing him in the main story). and dont know what your talking about bumping this thread.

    Bridge Monster

So I've gathered that 1.) you have to kill that roboBarstid and 2.) killing it is part of the main storyline. So....what happens if you abandoned the main storyline some ways back because the mission became too impossible/frustrating to finish as a solo player ?
Does this mean I'm stuck in Marin or whatever forever ? I am going to be mightily honked off if that is the case...
I thought this was supposed to be an "open world" MMO...

The monolith before the bridge is likely invulnerable by most means. If not, it's shields and HP are too high to take out before everyone gets blown to bits.

You do, however, cross the bridge as part of the main story. But if you're still impatient, you can get someone who's done it on your friends list, then just have them go to Overpass and select the Go To Friend option, so you can fast travel there.

Honestly I was kinda looking forward to fighting the big guy. LMAO

That said, it was a smart way to keep people on one side of the map till they did the main mission. Better then some lame invisible barrier.

Well tbh with everyone (Spoiler alert) there are I believe 2 more chances to face that Monolith in the story when taking on some Dark Matter jerks. I have some pretty decent weapons and a ego rating of 1200+ and I got smacked around more times then I care to count their shields are ridiculous and don't budge when hit with a good couple shots from a Swarm rocket launcher (legendary/ Orange).
