Is it normal if I find the insanity, stress and rage coming out of this kind of event fun ?(Got it after a good bunch of tries and rage but the smile on the face and the fist shaking at the screen was priceless lol)

I hated this stupid *** thing, as evident in my earlier post. But when I finally got gold I was like "**** YA! NEVER MAKING A NEW CHARACTER CAUSE OF THIS!" and left, running over some road side mobs on the way for personal satisfaction.

Heres a tip for anyone that will make it piss easy to get gold. change loadout to own gun and wait about 1min and you can call your car. then just drive circles around the house and re-call car in safe place once it gets too damaged

yep perks work scavengers the one that made it possible for me lol i couldnt get near bronze just because there wasnt enough ammo,
Itd often just end the challenge when i had 3 or more rounds believing i had seen zero at some point.
I used to be able waste the shotgun ammo before it started and do the challenge with my loadout though theres no ammo for those:-P
Before scavenger id have maybe 1 or 2 rounds ten minutes in with no multiplier, after id have 30 plus ammo in 5 seconds.
Hiding at all in this challenge will just clutter the enemies and knock off the multiplier so you die with a low score.
yup this challenge sucks balls. i have ammo but the challenge just ends and yes i still have full health, ammo, im in the circle and everytime i get close to my silver the game decides to say, sorry ahh **** you your not going to get the silver even though you have full health, ammo and your still in the yellow circle. wtf!!! if they have to cheat like that they can **** off for all i care. you have a bunch of designers who are wanna be gamers and don't know **** when it comes down to real gameing, do us a favor stay at the desk and let real gammers game you ****ing morons!!!!!!!!!!!
finally i got it, and it's about ****ing time!!!! those perks that were mentioned from before helped out big time. for those who want to know it was
perk... escape artist
perk... displacemeent field
shield... respark blastproof II D (that's what i used for my shield)
it helped me big ****ing time 3 tries and and i got it and i'm glad i got my gold in that chicken one as well. finally all that ******** is done
I know this is an old subject but this challenge is BROKEN! im sorry i had to go there ive played this thing about 117x and i cant even get to 6000 this is the only thing keeping for completing all my pursuits for this section im not even close to unlocking any of the perks that everyone keeps saying u need to succeed at this so called "challenge" i love this game but now hate it somewhat because of this "challenge" i dont really see how this is a challenge if i have to have certain perks unlocked to complete this it more like finding a glitch and abusing... i just hit ego lvl 984 and i've been focusing my ego points on making my character more useful in the open world environment which accounts for 90% of the game play... was i supposed to have the foresight to see that this last little challenge way down at the SE corner of the map would require me to use a set of perks that i wasnt planning on using on my own honestly those perks would've been some of THE LAST perks i picked, i really dont think that what i do in the REAL GAME
should have anything to do with the "challenge" make the "challenge" have its own set of parameters and let that be that..... now i have to go lvl up about 10 more times b4 i can get the required perks and actually complete this challenge... ive watched the gold ranks on youtube and when i see them do it it looks like the AI is going easy on them... those raiders chewed through my respark in no time flat and kept finding little holes in my cover to shoot me once and stop it from recharging, that shotgun SUX and thats sad because i love shotties 3 of my loadout have them equipped i HATE this "challenge" its way too over the top... please in the future re-frame from designing or somewhat designing "challenges" such as these it would be greatly appreciated... this is THE ONLY "challenge" that gave me this much trouble... THE ONLY... just this one.... WOW!

You know that this reads like "I can't do this challenge therefore it sucks", right? I like this challenge, it's probably my favorite in the game, because it involves an actual learning curve (and therefore some replayability).
There's only one of two perks you really need for this challenge: either Scavenger or Assassin's Cache. If you're mobile enough, one of these should be enough to get silver without too much trouble, the rest just makes it a little easier. And if you're too impatient to wait for more EGO points, you can just respec.
