Hotshot: Moonshine Shack?

I know this is an old subject but this challenge is BROKEN! im sorry i had to go there ive played this thing about 117x and i cant even get to 6000 this is the only thing keeping for completing all my pursuits for this section im not even close to unlocking any of the perks that everyone keeps saying u need to succeed at this so called "challenge" i love this game but now hate it somewhat because of this "challenge" i dont really see how this is a challenge if i have to have certain perks unlocked to complete this it more like finding a glitch and abusing... i just hit ego lvl 984 and i've been focusing my ego points on making my character more useful in the open world environment which accounts for 90% of the game play... was i supposed to have the foresight to see that this last little challenge way down at the SE corner of the map would require me to use a set of perks that i wasnt planning on using on my own honestly those perks would've been some of THE LAST perks i picked, i really dont think that what i do in the REAL GAME
should have anything to do with the "challenge" make the "challenge" have its own set of parameters and let that be that..... now i have to go lvl up about 10 more times b4 i can get the required perks and actually complete this challenge... ive watched the gold ranks on youtube and when i see them do it it looks like the AI is going easy on them... those raiders chewed through my respark in no time flat and kept finding little holes in my cover to shoot me once and stop it from recharging, that shotgun SUX and thats sad because i love shotties 3 of my loadout have them equipped i HATE this "challenge" its way too over the top... please in the future re-frame from designing or somewhat designing "challenges" such as these it would be greatly appreciated... this is THE ONLY "challenge" that gave me this much trouble... THE ONLY... just this one.... WOW!

Be happy you will have all of your perks at 1k. Everyone else had to work for it. If you followed all the tips listed here you would at least have a silver. Maybe try leveling your shotty. Also, the higher your ego level the higher your shield capacity. So maybe level a little and come back.

If you aren't even at 1k you haven't been playing long enough to complain on here.

Just because it's currently too hard for you does not make it broken. The game and it's pursuits weren't designed with the idea that you could complete them all at low ego levels. If you can't get the perks yet that make this challenge easier, come back after you've leveled up enough to get them. Also, leveling up your skills for the type of weapon used in a challenge helps a lot. It's no different than the time trial challenges being easier if you have high skill level in runners.

I have yet to get silver on this even at ego level 2300, but just by doing it a few times I can see the mechanics of how it works and know I can get it with time. I just need to level up the shotgun skill some more and grab a few more ego points for the perks.

Get a fast loading shield, doesnt have to be high just fast recharging. So if u need to recharge the multiplier wont reset.

use an ammo perk.. instead of keeping like 3-7 in mag you can easily keep 30 lol it should help

You don't even need to change all of your perks. I swapped out one perk to grab scavenger and it was a breeze.

How to do it.

1. You start with 5 rounds. Every kill you get 1 additional round. If you run out of ammo, game over. Killing 2 in 1 shot, helps with the ammo count. Taking three shots to kill 1 enemy is bad mmmmkay.

2. Go middle then right.

3. Keep moving.

4. Do not go over 8 seconds without getting a kill.

5. You have a time-limit. If it ends and you still have ammo, you exceeded the time. They only way you didn't get gold is if you lost your multiplier, because you couldn't get a kill in the time needed.

6. middle then right. then back right. Then back left. Then front left. Then run like crazy to find more. -.0 --- directions given based on start location.

I had a hard time till I learned about the ammo thing. Run out, game over. the first 3 spawns you should be able to get 2 double kills. Really helps out latter when you have to quickly kill rocketers from range with 2 shots each, rather then run all the way to them.

LOL! ne wayz now i whould like to know what happened to the Assualt Rifle TACTICAL SCOPE?? I want the old se*y one back... oh BTW im a lvl 1052 now I GUESS im good enough to ask that question at least... otherwise i LOVE the new update... just wish my TAC SCOPE was the same... not complaining just wondering if its gonna come back all my ARs had it equipped and now i have no scope at all...

i got the silver too after about 25 more tries @ >>>>LVL 984<<<< i think the raiders started to go easy on me because they were shooting but couldnt get through my shield and finally my multiplier kept increasing... i think even the Raiders were sick of the "challenge"..... so i suggest to ne one who hasnt gotten it yet, dont give up!!! eventually... the Raiders will! LOL!!!!!!!
