Edited to make me seem a little less immature..

Basically I still cannot connect. It gets past the 2 intro videos then goes to the "Connecting to servers" screen for about 25 seconds, then a box pops up with the options "try again" and "exit game". I have opened up ports and blah blah blah reinstalled and everything, still no luck..

WHY CAN I NOT LOG IN!? This is SICKENING to me.. Why do I seriously have to stare at the connecting to servers screen since this damn game launched yet I see COUNTLESS other threads of people complaining about a quest not working or other stupid crap.. I WANT TO LOG IN, CAN I PLEASE GET AN UPDATE OR SOMEONE TELLING ME THEY KNOW THERE'S A PROBLEM AND ARE WORKING ON IT? This is BS why is this so damn hard to get to work.. I paid money for NOTHING and if this does not get fixed ASAP then I am getting my money back and never buying a Trion product again..

While I understand you are annoyed, littering your post with caps spam and threatening to "get your money back" (I'd love to know how... your bank certainly won't refund you for an MMO which doesn't have 100% uptime) isn't the best way to ask for help.

I have been patient about this since it started and CALMLY asking for help and to fix it which was ignored. Now I'm sick of it and am getting pissed off. And trust me, I WILL be getting my money back if this continues, there are ways, you know..

The only ways I can think of involve asking the retailer nicely or fraud.

Probably a stupid question at this stage, but you have tried disabling firewalls (windows, 3rd party and/or router), etc?

I did a quick Google search but couldn't find anything relating to tracerouting the Defiance servers (i.e. an IP address to check).

I apologise if this is too obvious or if you and others have posted elsewhere that you've already tried it, but: have you made sure that any firewall and/or router you have is configured to allow the game to connect? And if you have configured them, have you tested it with the firewall disabled and/or bypassing the router just to eliminate them as possible contributors to the problem?

Beyond that I don't really have any suggestions - I'm expecting you probably have tried the above and this'll just frustrate you a little further, but figure it's worth that risk on the off chance such things are new to you.

Just a suggestion...

Post in the technical forums. Include system specs, internet provider, etc.. and someone might be able to help you get sorted out. You could also contact them using the support website.

They've been fairly busy on Twitter, etc.. with status updates.

I'm calmer now.. I apologize for coming off like an ***, I've just been trying to get this to run since launch with NO fix in sight.. Yes I have tried EVERY listed and non listed method to no avail. I am by no means a computer guru, but I do have a pretty good knowledge with networking and the likes, and my patience is wearing very thin.. I really do not know what else I can try, but thank you to those that offer help.
