Grr Grr Grr have most people soloed him? I presume he'd be easier to cope with on a group due to being able to revive etc. On phase 3 atm. Wouldn't be such a pain in the arse if it weren't for every once in a while his explosion glitches through a wall (not the homing ones) or his terraform spikes glitch underneath you where there are noneif it weren't for those couple of issues I would have to say it's one of the best boss battles i've played in a while
I was about to fight him but i got the crit message when i was watching the clip
So frustrating. I've wasted around 4k scrip atm re-specing as cloak is pretty useless and resurrecting >.<
Finally done him after an hourBut yeah it was an awesome battle. Loved it (except glitchy bits)
I think you have to solo him, its another one of those solo only instances. And it takes a bit of practice learning his different attacks on each part of it. and figuring out what weapons work best for you
Well it only took me 9 min to kill all 3 of his forms and never lost a live. I think Triot needs to make a harder boss next dlc
He was the most enjoyable boss fight imo. His last form was the hardest for me, those damn explosions where he slams the ground kept hitting me in mid-air across the room. The reward should have been better though, I was really hoping for a Dark Matter outfit, not a pistol.
First fight with him " Keep Moving and Shooting " 2nd Fight with him " Stay on the other side he spawns from " 3rd Fight with him " Stay close to the pilar's and use them to dodge the ground slams and spin/fire move's "
Also make sure you have a shield with a 2.0 Recharge rate and a good auto shotgun lol
well, first round, he will chase you and shot weird things at you, when he charges his blue energy, hes gonna dash at you, let him crash 4 times against a wall, and he will stun for a few seconds, just spamm ur best gun on his butt >:0!
2nd round, he will call his clones, wich are 1shot mostly, when u shot Nim for 2-3 times, hes gonna recall them, after a while he will be above the area with a few other clones, try to find the original asap and empty ur clip on him.
3rd round, make sure to stick near the pillars, everytime he taunts you, it means he will atk with an aoe atk. wait for the atk to passby, and empty ur clip on him when he kneels down.
^ hes pretty easy to solo, but don't be stressed when u die, i can tell, anyone died at least 1 time, to study his movements x3

He downed me once first phase. An interesting fight, but gets easier as it goes on. Since I was spec'd for blur it was much easier for me. Escape Artist gets a ton of mileage on that fight.
By the way, the pistol is pretty useful. I don't use it in my conventional loadouts, but for boss fights that have a temporary exposed weak point it is AMAZING for burst DPS. You can take out a scrapper core in 2 air phases with it. Needs about 3-4 times as much spare ammo as it currently carries to be useful for questing tho.
