Update: Xbox 360 US Lag and Connection Issues

Game seems good and I appreciate that you guys are working hard to fix the lag. I just tried playing again like 30 minutes ago and it LAGGED SO BAD. LOL. i died 30 times in a minute cause all the damage i was suppose to receive hit me all at when it loaded. so probably lost lots of money. but keep up your hard work and hope it gets fixed.

Welcome to the first weekend ladies and gents. Lag spikes are to be expected growing pains and all that. I was fine until about 10pm cst then everyone tried to play at the same damn time lol. Here is to hoping it smooths out by the morning.

I am a veteran pc gamer and am no stranger to mmo launches, however this is getting out of hand. I do appreciate the amount of communication between the devs and the consumers, HOWEVER 4 days after launch the game is worse than the first night. I have been able to log in a total of 3 times out of 9 separate attempts, im talking about overall attempts at different times. The game is incredibly fun but you should be able to get this to work by now. Many of you will flame me and say, they are working hard to get this fixed give them a break most of them have been working overtime. I don't understand how people are blatantly defending them after the internet outrage of the release of the new Sim City. If anything is this on par with the Sim City launch, at least for xbox users like myself.

If anything veteran mmo players know how crucial launch is for any mmo game. Sure there are always problems to work out, however at some point a lot of people are going to give up and cut their losses. This means less people playing the game and paying for upcoming content. I am sure many people have either returned or traded this game in already due to the never ending issues.

i agree 100% i am i huge pc and xbox person pc mmo's and xbox games but this is out of hand nothing like ive ever seen a game struggle this bad with lag or anything else.. and ive been in over about 25 betas and new releases and this is one of the worst I've ever had to endure..

I think the problem is with Xbox Microsoft, I haven't really seen any lag problems in PS3 and PC at least not on the scale that Xbox is at. Also the group events are terrible when it comes to lag. It's practically unplayable. So now is it really Trion fault or Microsoft? This is also Microsoft's first MMO for the Xbox you would think they would have something to say or do something about it. As for compensation I would suggest maybe some early bonus footage from the show, In game compensation, maybe another game But honestly I would much rather be able to play the game lag free then receive any of this.

I had to hunt for this game, I finally get it and it takes FOREVER just to install on my XBox. Now its installed and it says it will take me two days just to play the damned thing? I think I just blew $60 AND an additional $60 just to reup my XBox LIVE Gold. This is beyond ridiculous.
