Update: Xbox 360 US Lag and Connection Issues

I've done multiple MMOs. First day, first week, heck sometimes even the first month sucks with lag. That's why I didn't get the collectors edition. That XP boost for the first seven days is effectively worthless. But worst of all... Never has a company ever scheduled maintenance on a Saturday night from 8-10 PST. Some one needs to be fired.

Its a server crash or they had to take it down there was nothing else they could do trying to cache a bug that probably go loose from a ArkFall...

Horrible lag & thousands of players not being able to log in is not the definition of a perfect game.
Call of Duty has less lag by far.

Don't compare Call of Duty (A First Person Shooter) to Defiance (a Massive Multi-player Open World 3rd Person Shooter) -_- Your just making yourself look like a Idiot doing so....

true, that's why that second part is in there. I have a few indie games i can mess around with or go back and get some achievements in older games. Right now im just messing around in call of duty for the giggles.

I get why people are mad but they need to find a better outlet then complaining at a computer screen half of these posts wont be read and it doesn't create a solution. They need to learn what an MMO is like. Specially for a big one like this on an Xbox. While this isnt ground breaking technology, true MMOs on console is still pretty new.

Here's my thing and correct me if I'm wrong but wasn't there only one beta before release of Defiance? The reason for asking is because most MMO's have several betas in order to try to fix these types of issues before they happen. I'm not giving up on this game because it has alot of potential. I've been waiting for a game like this on the Xbox for a long time and it's finally here. Keep up the good work Devs, I will be here patiently waiting to play this awesome game.
