Update: Xbox 360 US Lag and Connection Issues

I found a permanent fix for the Xbox problems!
1. sell your xbox (this is the most important part)
2. buy a PS3 and exchange the defiance xbox version for a ps3 version.
3. NEVER HAVE TO PAY $60 A YEAR FOR PERMISSION TO PLAY A GAME THAT YOU CAN PLAY FOR FREE ON ANY OTHER SYSTEM!
4. Enjoy all the glory of the sharper graphics and blueray movies as well as a HD that is NOT sold separately or charged extra for with the system purchase.

TADA problem solved permanently.

2240 EST Server Time-Out XBOX 360: no message aside from that.

I connect to the server and queue up my characters, but after I try to log in to the actual game world, beach ball of loading leads to "Critical: You connection to the DEFIANCE servers has timed out".

I tried for the last half-hour or so.

Same exact issue that I'm having. :/

I'm losing my patience with this game pretty fast. Definitely should have got it for PC. Better graphics, less lag, and servers that actually work. MMO's are meant to be played on PC not xbox or PS3.

can anyone help me out I have been in a complete loop with the patches for the 360 and when they do finally load and it says I can play I press it and it loads then black screen I go back to the xbox dashboard and then when I load it up again it says that I have to re install and back to the patches I have not even played a second of the game yet send me a private message if you can help I am really excited to play but also extremly frustrated thank you

I have beaten nim shondu 11 ****ing times now i just beat that mission for the 4th ****ing time and it timed out while it was loading out of the ****in mission if it doesnt ****ing go through and complete im gonna go ****ing crazy and ****ing break my god damn game im ****ing done with this piece of **** why the **** didnt you stress test the ****ing beta you dumbass ****ing btches im done!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

not to mention the component for ps3 sucks, an hdmi is sold seperately, graphics are actually a small bit worse, crappy servers, psn gets hacked alot easier, more people mod ps3, ps3 barely has good shooting games, you cant play music from your ps3 while playing, and not alot of people have mics or communicate on there and mostly everyone sucks at cod and i know this cause i have one and i still choose xbox over ps3

Glad it's getting fixed lol, by the way any chance the connection timeouts and xbox freezing up will be fixed soon? I can't play Shadow wars or competitive because I always time out. One more thing to note (devs may be aware already) if there are 50+ people at an arkfall (large and small) the frame rate drops like crazy.

I'm just wondering if we can expect these issues to be worked on soon for xbox.

Its a hard issue for them to fix because xbox is not made to be handiling that kind of stuff. trion worlds just makes it work
