No you don't.......this one has been frustrating me for a while. I can't figure out why it keeps ending all of a sudden.

_All_ Rampage and Hotshot missions are currently bugged and highly exploitable, thus some players have extremely high scores compared to what should have been possible.

If you do them the "normal" way, they are all possible to do on bronze/silver/gold, though the latter may be hard. For Sharpshooter; Don't loose your multiplier!

I think this particular challenge is bugged. My last attempt ended with my score at 19550, a multiplier over 40 and 4 of the people still alive.

yup, tried every trick in the book to do this hotsot mission and it is definitely bugged, add that to the data recorder for "I got that", and you cant finish either areas full pursuits, I assume other area pursuits will also be bugged, bummer

I got silver on this, even with the premature ending to the mission. Unexpected bonus: getting credit for the "Kill X enemies while Cloaked" pursuits, as bringing up the scope puts you in cloak.

Lick, did you stick to the supplied sniper rifle or switch out to your own weapons to finish it? and what was your strategy, shoot the ae guys first?

someone tell me how you beat this, was it just straight head shots on every victim? or lots of double taps? or a combat multiplier for speed?

I JUST got a Silver award from it, and all I can say is, DON'T loose your multi and shoot quick, only a hand few even made it to the people before it timed out on me.

Yeah I was having trouble with this one at first. When the enemies get close to the people you are protecting, it looks like they are firing in the air before shooting at the people, but it seems like this counts against you anyways. I was able to get a silver (or maybe gold, I forgot) by shooting the enemies as soon as I could see them. Like others have said already, the key to any of the hotshots/rampages is to not lose the multiplier bonus.

Another thing, don't worry about headshots. The rifle you have will kill the normal mobs with one shot regardless, two shots for the elites. I don't recall headshots giving you more points either.

When I got a good score I just tried to shoot them as soon as I could see them. The further in to the event you get the more mobs spawn so you will be able to get enough points.
