I would have thought that having some sort of real way to join your friends is a thing that would be implemented first, or at least very soon. I just spent an hour trying to get into the same instance as my friends. Finally, we all get into the same instance and the server resets.
How do you expect us to test the game at all if were spending the entire time relogging to get into the same area as our friends?

Interestingly enough, it could be contexted using the Friday streams. The developer had a difficult time getting into the same game and then an even worse time trying to get onto the same team. Certainly this is a design flaw of epic propotions considering the importance of PvP combat, either instanced or in Shadow War. As noted, this information was collected watching last weeks developer stream, so the NDA does not apply.
Heiro has a point. However, so does Turkey, as the OP was clearly speaking about something that happened to him during the beta.
When in doubt, remember the NDA and post accordingly. It's safer and less likely to get you a ban.
If that's all it takes to "infuriate" you, i sincerely hope you don't have kids.....or a wife.....or parents.....or a pet.....or any sort of human interaction.
+1 to this, being unable to play with friends reliably ruins games.
I concur with this... I'll be honest, I'm losing faith after just 2 beta events, I really hope they fix this with many other things (See beta forums for the rants from the community).
Although the topic under discussion is quite frusturating, please remember that the game doesn't launch until April. There is plenty of time to work out the bugs (hence why it's currently in beta) and polish it up heading in to release. I'm pretty sure that Trion is reading and listening to all of the feedback being provided by the community and is working diligently to make the game better.
with 2 months out, shouldnt they be polishing the game and addressing balancing issues, not trying to fix bbasic game/mmo functions?
