how often is this lag?

so is this game breaking lag common?? its the second time in my week of playing that the game has become basically unplayable cuz of lag...bullet delay..takes like 30 seconds for car to spawn..mobs nonstop rubberbanding..i understand sumtimes theres spikes... but this is disgusting..is this common?? i was gonna buy all the dlc but not if i hafta go through this **** all the time.

It's common yes, especially when there are a lot of people playing. You get used to it though.

funny thing is i was doing arkfalls fine 0 lag...go do 3 side quests with a buddy n we just alt-f4'd

Seriously though I've noticed things have been much worse the last few weeks or so, I play on xbox and am lucky to be able to say usually lag and disconnects ppl complain about don't effect me, up until a few weeks ago I could play full sessions without ever critting out, but now I'm suffering the issues you describe, guns take forever to change, interactables take ages to interact with like ammo crates objectives etc, players and npc running on the spot, and opening the map with the back button causes everything to freeze with all the map icons grouped in the middle of the map which requires a hard reset

I hope they're looking into this because something has changed sometime recently making server stability not as good as it was before

Ya it seems like every time there is an event coming up, the lag gets worse. Wait til the Valentines Event, with all the people that will be on. You think it's lagging now, you haven't seen anything yet. Gets worse when the number of people on the server increases. People dissappear during Arkfalls and all that fun stuff.
