AR, LMG, SMG need separate ammo pools ASAP!

Honestly the only one that really needs it is SMGs. The Assault Rifle/LMG is fine together. The SMGs on the other hand all run through ammo like it's out of style and really need around 1000 or so to be a viable choice over Assault Rifles or LMGs.

There have been sooo many times I've used an LMG at a Great ArkFall until it's dry, switch over to use my Assault Rifle and all I hear is click*.

@ jnt - Ah, ok I know what you are saying.. but as far as my main point - just moving SMGs to Pistol ammo pool - nothing would have to be changed at all! I guess that's why I was wondering what you were talking about I keep forgetting the OP was calling for an ammo type for every weapon (I've posted on many threads about ammo sharing).

As for belt fed ARs - they are real. I have personally fired one.

Oh, I know jnt.. I'm just saying they do exist... the one I fired was fun.. but I'd much rather mag-fed unless I was shooting full-auto (the one I played with wasn't).
I also realize that the ones further down were just SAWs - I just didn't want to link to ONE belt fed AR-15 and have people start saying it was a photoshop

Nah. Belgium makes the M249 that uses the same round fired by the M16. It can even accept the mag from one.

an my comment wasnt saying that its aim, shoot, move as an insult...so please I didnt mean for it to "sound" that way, its just the way I have learned to conserve ammo, an the SAW an M60 were my babies when I was in, an they should put in the 60mm but the detonator (sp?) works just fine on that end.

Since it seems they are going to be balancing weapons around pvp I wouldn't get my hopes up on this change to ever happen.

So you want a gun that runs through a clip very quickly...to have less ammo. Okay.

Next major patch the pistol ammo pool is being brought in line with the other guns. I agree with people saying that SMG and pistol should share ammo.
