I lost an epic (purple) SMG after just buying it. Went to equip it and it was gone. And just this morning, I lost a legendary (orange) shotgun, after just winning it from a lock box. Equipped it, then went to put a mod on it, but it wouldn't allow me to. After logging out, then back in, it too had disappeared. Very frustrating. Big losses on my part.
Finally after many many lock-boxes (EU EGO 1100 & US EGO 500) I finally got my first Orange. It was from a T3 lock box and it was a great one. I decided to add its one remaining mod slot just before logging off last night (obviously I didn't know about the permanence bug)
Logged on today and it no longer exists...
Sent bug report but still a very unhappy bunny - who knew pixels would mean so much
I've lost one orange and two blue guns so far. The orange wasn't even in the salvage matrix. Just in a loadout slot. I sent a support ticket last thursday evening. And got a reply today, saying something to the effect of "Thank you for contacting us. Sorry for taking so long to reply. If the problem still persists, please contact the support". Well yeah. The problem still persists. Namely, my guns haven't re-appeared magically...Originally Posted by NDoyle
Just attempted to add a slot to my legendary assault rifle... Froze and when I logged back in it was gone... I've spent a lot of money on lockboxes to get it and now... I have naught to show for my patronage... I sent a message to the support team and am currently waiting for a response. Has anyone received their property back? Lost what I would consider my perfect pistol. A -25!- clip 5x crit FRC Bull Rush 45 with a crit 3 barrel and a expanded mag 3.
I had only just traded a rather expensive assault rifle for it too...Really soured my feel for the game. =/

Why in the friggin crap doesn't Trion take down the servers with this kind of gamebreaking bug?
Lost several guns, several of which I got from paid lockboxes...I can deal with the few blues I lost, but my purples and oranges...that's just not cool.
I've stopped playing Defiance since last weekend. I bought a sniper for 200VBI currency
and it vanished when i entered Scrapyard co-op. Made a ticket and haven't heard much
since then. I login once a day to check if either my sniper is back, or my currency...
Sofar, nothing. And im not playing until one of them is back. I work for a living and
i got better things to do then login and get aggravated, when i get home from work,
because my items are vanished.
Sad. I was really enjoying the game, until The Grinch stole my sniper.
Not sure if this should go here, but I cant even change weapons. I cant change loadouts, I cant do much of anything anymore.
