Anyone else having this issue?
I can drive runners just fine (the ATVs, the quads), but I can no longer drive cars, like the Dodge Challenger or the RM Nomad.
I select a car as my vehicle, spawn it, hop in… and I can't accelerate, or reverse, nor turn the wheel. I just sit there.
Used to be able to drive cars. And stuff. =|
are you sure you're getting in the correct side.... passenger seat doesnt have pedals or a steering wheel ;-)
Niquara has a good point. I accedentally got in on the passenger side, and sat there for like 2 minutes trying to figure out what the problem was....thought it was lag and the server was going down.That's when I found out you can drive 2 to a car!! LOL!!
Think we've all done it at some point ha!.....
Also (this may be because im on a ps3).... its the grenade exploding as i drive off makes me facepalm every time!
Jhea good think i knew this from the beginning. Why is there a second seat anyway ... for co-op maybe but can another person drive your car? Dont think so ... just weird ...Originally Posted by Volatile

That explains a lot, I thought it was a bug.
Anyhow the dodge is **** so it's useless anyway
The buggy is way better at climbing hills to take shortcuts and the ATV is way smaller so you can drive through a ton of places the big car can't.
I love speeding ahead of the buggys in pursuit of the next arkfall,,, only to smash my shiny dodge into a fence and see them hurtling past... oh the shame of it all
I rather like the idea. I played for several hours with a person I met yesterday, and we both took turns driving the other as we did our quests together. Was much easier questing together this way, rather than trying to follow one another. There was also a lot of lag, and we kept disappearing before each others eyes. made it nearly impossible to follow the other.
Hah! I guess I am not high enough yet. I haven't seen any buggy's for sale yet. Looking forward to trying one out.
Theres a vehicle vendor to the south (but not over the golden gate bridge). I think it's on a peninsula? Just check out your map, that's where you can buy a Duni.
