Gearbox also made Samba de Amigo, Counter Strike, Blue Shift, and Opposing Force.
So yes, one of the games they made was bad.

It scares me that I live in a world where gamers would rather have their voice chat working instead of the game working correctly.

Cognitive Dissidence much? Jesus, sounds like a lot rationalization to me. The point is there will never be a BL mmo, because gearbox is too lazy to even support their current game by actually making their own DLC's...
My finally point is almost the entire Brother in Arms Series is exclusively made by gearbox and fits perfectly into "halfassed first person shooter"
At least be consistent in your argument -_-

Just as a little note there aren't very many games that I know of that got MMOs of themselves after sticking to a certain style for a long time. The only 2 I can think of off the top of my head are WoW and Elder Scrolls. Then take a look at Bungie or w/e and their Destiny game. Most people know them for Halo. Now they're making a sci fi shooter mmo, but it isn't Halo. All in all what I'm trying to say is that even if Gearbox were to make a MMO it would be tough to do so with Borderlands.
I like the Arkfalls.
