    1200 bits, and scrip boost

    Tally-ho pip-pip and Bernard's your uncle,

I have just pre-ordered the UE of Defiance, but I can't help but notice that it comes with 1200 bits and a 7 day scrip boost. What the devil is "1200 bits" and "scrip boost"?

    Cheers

scrips are ingame currency... like gold. So you would be earning more money. I think bits are purchased with real money and used on a real money market.

I've heard the "1200 bits" is actually really valuable, making it possible for characters to purchase amazing weapons to start with. Def getting the UE.

wrong..this is not buy to win. there will be no AMAZING i win weapons. there will be mounts, some guns that you can get earlier than you would get later in the game and outfits. along with xp, scrit boosts.

What I don't get is that you are essentially paying for content that is free. For me I would have to be really interested in the artwork and lore to get the UE. Paying for a gun to start with which can be obtained later in the game, one makes the game easier(this was stated in FAQ's), and two takes away from the 'o snap' factor. Later in the game a gun/shield will drop and I will be like o snap a new gun type whereas someone who spent more money will be like o snap an upgrade. Same goes for exp boost, its just going to make you blow through content. I prefer challenging games so ill opt out of the exp and guns.

I can def understand your point of view, The boosts mentioned don't really sound like anything THAT amazing, but I'll take them anyway. lol
