How long do you give a game to fix issues?

Being a Vanilla WOW player, Ive been through some extended server shutdowns and problems, and kept playing, until Kung Fu Panda killed WOW.

So my question, how long do you keep trying to play a game, before you say, oh well, this game isnt going to make it, such as AION and Conan.

I will give this game 2 weeks to try and work out all the bugs and server issues, to where I can at least do something other than watch the same loading screens over and over. If they still continue to have major issues after that, might have to get credit on the game for BF4

But I really do hope they get these problems corrected quickly, I think this game looks really great from what I've seen, and hope to play it for along time.

Sorry to hear the game isn't working properly for you.

The issues are definitely area based or something, because I've barely had any issues playing the game so far apart from when the servers actually go down for maintenance etc.

Two weeks should be more than enough time for the bulk of the server issues to be fixed!

I wish you luck over the next few days!

I usually give the game about 2 weeks, then i'll wait for about 3 weeks to go back to it if the game isn't in good shape. I'm used to this with other MMO's since MMO's are never truly finished products and are always a work in progress, with random bugs and stuff that happen. Plus with me playing on console i'm not as uptight because i realize that Trion went into the dark realm of MMO consoles, which only 2 other companies have tried with FFXI and Phantasy Star Universe (if you want to call that an MMO). I've had lag issues but nothing really big. it's good that you are going to give this game some time to iron out the big issues instead of calling for the firstborns of Trions workforce :P Hope you stick around and enjoy

I agree with giving time BUT....

I paid 60 bucks for a game and then the season pass and have not played for more than 1 hour at a time before something crashes. Unacceptable. I like the game but comon all this oney we spent and cant play it.

I been playing MMOs for about 10 years or so. In the past few years most MMOs I played did have fairly smooth launches. This games launch so far has been a bit of a Roller coaster but since its the first MMO of its kind of the Xbox I dont mind giving them time to sort through something. Still a great game tho.
Wish some people here would of played a MMORPG back when launches were really bad. Lately then been pretty smooth.

Yeah, most of these people that are mad wouldn't have lasted a day with some of the older MMOs first launches, Yeesh they were terrible but it was well worth it to stick around and wait for things to smooth out.

This happens with quite a few games released this day in age, especially MMO's... If spending 100 bucks was not worth it to you than sorry for your loss but, honestly... All these problems were expected. Deal with it like everyone else is...

WoWs launch day was a bit rough to that I remember. But games like Dark Age of Camelot I remember were pretty bad. In the end every MMO I waited for to get through the rough patch was well worth it.

It's a $60 mmo with no monthly fees, two is selfish. This isn't a game that has 1-10 players, you have to respect that in a game where everyone is playing at the same time, plenty of issues are going to come up. Their are plenty of people wanting different things, I wanted my preorder items on day one, didn't happen. When I contacted then it took less than 10 minutes to fix the problem. MMOs are a constantly changing environment that only gets better if people commit and contribute.
