Defiance crashed ps3, now I can't connect

Logged in today to find that my character had been set back about 3 hours. Loosing one of the Purple handguns i had acquired from a lockbox.

Played anyways today. Hopefully dosn't happen again because i spent bits to get some lockbox's and had some decent purple weapons.

Finished arkfall, was questing lagging badly, died multiple times to phantom mobs then lagged out. can't reconnect

same thing happened to me, i was playing a mission, i died and spawned back at the farm safe zone, but then killed by phantom enemies over and over. So i quit the game and went to ps3 dashboard, then tried to log back into defiance, but it doesn't let me. Just says "CRITICAL - Your connection to the Defiance servers has timed out"
