Defiance crashed ps3, now I can't connect

I'm not on the east coast. I'm in the Midwest, Chicago, IL to be exact!

Oh and my friends just got booted too and they can't get back in either. Their also in Illinois.

In SK, Canada and I just finished installing the patches and game itself, and it's saying the connection is timing out, I'm on ps3 as well, so I don't know whats happening, the server down right at this time?

looks like server patch on 360 as of a few minutes ago. maybe they hit the wrong button? lol
