I realize this now, but I saw no reason at the time to take it as a "when we're ready" statement, as opposed to a "we're ready, go for it" statement. I'm a developer myself and I know downtime estimates, always err on the side of caution. But sometimes? Yeah, we've finished early. You make it sound like what they say is absolute, as in it will be down for 30 minutes no matter what. Hey, if that's the case, well then now I know. But a big red post saying to exit out to the dashboard to receive the patch, kinda infers that it was the mod updated the situation to let us know we were good to go.

If you really are a developer (doubtful) then why are you pissed about a 30 minute down time? You should understand that these things happen. I am sure they are working their best to get the game running properly.

I can understand how you thought that the underlining and bold red text did seem to have a sense of urgency to it. It was probably to prevent people coming in after and complaining that the update didn't work. Although, I don't think we need to continue this though to prevent a misunderstanding turning into an argument.

It would seem you have to be smarter than the patch...and the devs notes regarding it...obviously you aren't...grats!!

TRION is doing an exemplary job of keeping us informed, especially via twitter. They're providing real time updates on their page, I'm pretty impressed. I mean it could be a looooooooooooot worse. Idk how many of you are/were sucked into that console disappointment of biblical proportions known as Crysis 3, but Crynet/EA seemed almost determined to keep its users in the dark. I'm just happy TRION is responding to us..
