Hello, I am quite curious about how to earn titles in Defiance other than codes is it all through challenges or what? Yes that is all

look at the goals, thats a pretty good place to start...you get a few once you complete them...they are also known as pursuits if you played in beta

all ive earned is new freedom hero, completing mount tam goal :/ working on madera

Completing pursuits seems to be the only way.
I'm using the Scourge of San Quinten title till I get a new one

Push start open the wheel to go to goals and then look through the goals it will tell you how to get titles and so on

There are a titles to be purchased at most of Faction Vendors. For the base Factions (Soleptor, VBI, Top-Notch, Paradise...maybe, I think they may have removed this one) It's 1000 Faction Rep + Scrip. For the Thorn, there is one per Castithan Liro (so 5) with the higher Liroes being more expensive in Rep. The 7th Legion has a title which can only be earned via luck with the RNG ("Lucky Kitty"... can be dropped by a faction supply box or as a reward for Incursions).

Additionally, there are the pursuits.

There are also some Titles which can not be earned anymore. For example, the titles Keeper of the Southern/Northern Lights, due to the pursuit being removed (had to do the original Armistice Pursuits when they were first added to the game as part of the episode crossover/launch to first show airing). Another example is the original Ark Code titles like "VBI Operative/Recruit" as those codes have been removed. Preorder/Launch titles (Badlands Drifter, Iron Demon, Daredevil, Pale Wars Ronin, Steam Powered)

Then there are a few titles which are awarded by Trion for specific actions to help the game/Trion in some way: Honorable (Bug Reports when they are looking for specific stuff) or Insomniac (playing 25 hours during the Extra Life charity events).
