Episode Missions

So from my understanding Trion and Scify are going to have characters going back and forth between the show and the game (St Louis and San Fran respectively). Nolan is currently in the game so does this mean as soon as the show starts all of these episode missions will be gone? That would be the only logical thing for Trion to do if they want to stick to their realistic approach of having characters move back and forth. Otherwise I will never feel like he actually left. But still, I would like to know the answer.

There was an intro message a few day into game that said that be sure to complete the missions with Nolan before the 15th. You do get purple weapon of class for completing mission ....

I don't think they would get rid of those missions cause its part of the game. Like ego progression they should open up after a certain amount.

the epsiode missions tie directly into the show. don't watch that link unless you've finished the ep missions, or else you won't get the reference.

I doubt they will stay, doesn't make sense for them to stick around when Nolan is not in the game area anymore.

it would be a little silly to remove them and then people that find out about the show/game check out both months or years down the road but don't get to see the tie ins.


in general limited time content in mmo's is self defeating. it's a big problem in gw2 for example that so much of what they've done since launch was removed within days of being added never to be seen again. i mean undstandably seasonal events should be limited, but when most of your post launch content is like that then it's rather poor in several ways of measuring.

They'll probably get removed in the short term, and then hopefully after some time has passed (a month, or the show's season maybe) they can be put back in as "reruns" (just like Star Trek Online did).

The footage was excellent. Can't wait for the show. Also explained the whole fire in the sky thing with all of the falling debris.
