yeah the arkfall they show looks alot better than they do in game. it's actually a little silly.

i think they say finish it before so that when you watch the show you understand references. but i think it will be available at all times.

it would be a little silly to remove them and then people that find out about the show/game check out both months or years down the road but don't get to see the tie ins.


in general limited time content in mmo's is self defeating. it's a big problem in gw2 for example that so much of what they've done since launch was removed within days of being added never to be seen again. i mean undstandably seasonal events should be limited, but when most of your post launch content is like that then it's rather poor in several ways of measuring.

Time limited content in MMOs can also feel fantastic if you're able to participate. It's the opposite side of the coin from when you kill the evil boss 240 times without wondering how that works.

It says somewhere, the launcher window news I think, to hurry up and finish the episode one mission before the 15th when the show releases. Also we are scheduled for a major patch then so will probably get the second episode missions that day or day after

Plus it's something different to, small crystal, mobs spawn, mobs die, crystal burns up in ultra bright light.

It would really suck if they dissapear after the 15th. I've preordered the UE from amazon uk and it will arrive sometime between the 13th-15th.

I mean seriously, I get ripped of content because I've preordered the most expensive Edition?

They'll probably get removed in the short term, and then hopefully after some time has passed (a month, or the show's season maybe) they can be put back in as "reruns" (just like Star Trek Online did).

Yeah I would assume the same. Probably removed until the season ends or something, then put all the Season 1 episode missions back in for those joining later. Though its going to kind of suck if you do something like go on trip for a couple weeks and miss out until way later.

Where I passed not to long Nolan is not in the game not giving anything away but when I saw the first 14 mins of the show I know what he was talking about in the show, if you saw the first 14 mins its the part when he's talking about the Cell and what he had to do to get it.

It was stated during a live feed that the 1st episode mission will disappear when the 1st episode airs so must complete that mission and all the other parts to it before the show starts and then the next episodic mission will be in game and you will have a week to do that
