Looking for in a guild/clan: Communication/skill/cooperation mainly some knowledgeable and mature people to socialize and raid/run with.

What you are looking forward to in Defiance: I am looking for this game to be the best MMO on a console ever to be frankly honest. I have watched the videos of gameplay on this game and have high expectations for Defiance. I love the MMO portion of games and sociable aspect of a guild and hate the same old computer AI in every non MMO game out there.

I love the idea of playing a MMO so much on a console, that I lower my standards to play a very broken and glitchy DCUO for the PS3. This game has many issues but as of right now, its the only real MMO on a console that is offered.

So please, please Defiance dont let me down lol, Im counting on you to be the only game I play in 2013, so much so that I purchased your $140 Gamestop exclusive version lol.

I know those are high expectations for a game, but I honestly feel like Defiance could be the greatest MMO on a console ever made.

What you are looking forward to in Defiance: I want a game that will continue to evolve and that looks like what this game has to offer.

If being in a guild is necessary then I want to be prepared before the game comes out in the platform I'm going to use.

I take direction well in a team and don't want to be in charge so there would be no worry that I'm jocking for anyone's leadership.

Looking for in a guild/clan: First and formost PVP. PVE is fine and endgame raids can be cool and all, but nothing beats fighting the most dangerous opponent...MAN. I am looking for a xbox clan that can mirror a PC clan in style (website, bank, raids, rank etc) also I think that considering the concept of a open world huge battle scenario a squad/platoon structure would work very well considering a one shard world. I am planning on setting up for a stream/youtube setup for this and would be great to be in a abosultely huge guild for that. Considering that point a aggressive recruitment style would be appreciated as well.

Gaming history: MMO: WOW, Warhammer, FF, Aeon.
SHooter: ALL CODS, All GOW, All Tom Clancy and a few indies.

What you are looking forward to in Defiance: Massive Events to where the screen will be filled to the brim with hundreds of players going head to head for dominance. Also the small pvp areas and lots of LOOT.

Looking for in a guild/clan: People who want to enjoy all the content that a game has to offer, but aren't on a forced march to complete it. I seek a group of friendly, adult, intelligent players without super-sized elitist egos who can use their brains and teamwork to accomplish big things. I am not at all interested in role-play beyond the fact that I am logging in as an avatar in this world and pwning your ***** in PvP with that avatar. I tend to favor PvE over PvP, but I enjoy both aspects of the game.

Gaming history: Extensive MMO gaming experience going back to the EQ era. I tried UO but thought it sucked. I've been involved in countless betas and launches since then. Games that were huge for me include CoH, EVE Online (I quit when I spent more time with my crafting spreadsheets than actually in the game), Unreal Tournament, Quake (I-IV), EQ, EQ2, DDO, LotRO and lately TSW where you will find me running around Fusang Projects capping wells and generally being a nuisance to the Templars.

What you are looking forward to in Defiance: This looks like a grade-A immersive SciFi world and I can't wait to sink my teeth into it. I am so glad this game is a shooter instead of another slow-paced, whack-an-ability-button-mole MMORPG. What I look forward to even more than the game itself is enjoying it with a very chill bunch of grown-ups who play to relax and unwind from the real world.

So...personal ad time:

Me: Late 30s Professional, long time gamer with 8-5 job and personal commitments. Team player with leadership experience, goal-oriented but in no huge hurry to "win" the game and repeat end-game content ad nauseam. I play M-F from 7 p.m. Pacific until about 10:30 p.m. On weekends I can be more flexible if I am not out enjoying the great California outdoors. I have a life outside the computer and while I love to get my game on, I don't live for it.

You (the potential guild): A group of friendly, social, laid-back, non-elitist adults (post-undergrad preferred) who like to get together to explore new worlds, kill the natives and take their stuff. A focus on having fun as a group and not taking the game too seriously is not only welcome but encouraged! People who can't be assed to use the Shift key on occasion or spell out the words "you" and "are" need not apply.
