    Companies bring this crap on themselves when they make content difficult to access. I don't have the SyFy channel in Canada, but they are airing it on Showcase. SyFy having their internet videos region locked is very stupid, and if they don't provide a channel for people to watch Defiance on t.v. in your country, they should expect people to find it online somewhere else. This is a huge oversight since the game and show are so closely connected, and they rely on each other to keep people interested. Paying to watch a t.v. show per episode is ridiculous, as t.v. shows are made solely to get networks viewers to make money off of advertising.

    It's not companies faults. Don't place the blame on them.
    The fault lies with horribly outdated and stupid laws that restrict content from country to country.

    Because even though we are an international market now, and more and more things are crossing borders with ease. Entertainment is still stuck in the dinosaur style business where deals have to be made in each country case by case.

    There is no "NAFTA" deals for entertainment like TV shows and video games.
    Especially in Canada where Bell, Rogers and Shaw have one of the most ridiculous monopolies I've ever seen when it comes to TV.
