I have the same problem too... I so wanted Overcharge power in my demolitions loadout, but I'm stuck with Blurring my way around... Please fix this devs, we all need variety, otherwise having loadout options limited like this makes it pointless to even have it.

I'm tentatively offering a possible workaround - at least it worked for a while for me - for the perks.

Try setting up your perks in the lobby of a PvP game. I did that, and lo an behold, afterwards I could switch between my 2 classes and the perks remained the same. I didn't do a lot of testing with it, but usually for me the perks copied immediately, with every change after setting them up then exiting the menu. After the two PvP games I played, they didn't change anymore.
I tried this method and it didn't work for me. But somethings are unclear. When you say PVP are you talking about Shadow Wars? And when you say lobby are you talking about the loadout screen between deaths? Maybe I'm missing something, but SW don't have traditional lobbies. Thanks in advance man

Yeah, I wouldn't call it game breaking, but it certainly kills my drive to want to play more. I was so stoked to have multiple powers, then when the bug occurred I just kinda lost my motivation to play. I hope they fix this soon, I'm honestly baffled that this bug even made it past release.

Yeah man, I sooooo wanted to toy around with different powers. I like dazin' 'n blazin' my targets with Blurr, but I kinda wanna try out Overcharge power for arkfalls and taking on harder enemies with brute force.

This is what I did, and by no way did I do it intentionally. I will describe what I did in as much detail as I can, but I don't know what part - if any - did something. I just noticed that afterwards my perks stayed the same even after numerous switching, exiting the menu etc:

    I entered into a Competitive Maps Quick-Match.
    It was Observatory TDM 8v8.
I entered the game and it had a 30 second countdown until the game starts.
So, in the loadout screen / spawn screen I thought I try to rearrange my perks like I wanted them to be.
I only have two loadouts, and loadout 1 (with Cloak) was the one with the perks copied into loadout 2 (with Decoy), so I only changed the perks in loadout 2.
I then entered the game, and during the course of the match, I didn't switch loadouts, but I did switch weapons once in the Loadouts/Spawn Screen.
After the game ended, I queued up for another Competitive Maps Quick Match, and after a minute, entered another game.
    TDM on Harbor, 6v6.
I didn't mess around with my loadouts, since, to my surprise, nothing in the perks had changed.
During the course of the game I switched loadouts once, and the perks stayed the same.
After the match was finished, I went into my Character/Loadout menu, and again the perks were still how I had set them up.
I switched between the loadouts several times, exited to the game, ran around, fired a few rounds, then went back in and switched loadouts again, checked the perks, and they were still the way I had set them up in the first TDM loadout/spawn screen.
I didn't edit them anymore, didn't enter the EGO-Powers screen, or changed them around in the loadout screen.
Then I had to stop playing.

I haven't played again, yet, so I cannot tell if it's still working, but I will and eventually report here.

My perks are constantly unequipping themselves whenever they please.

Thanks for the detailed break down. I'm going to give this a try once I am able to play.

[QUOTE=Darth Haighter;287632][QUOTE=Gabryal;245289]No news from the help desk request I put in, they haven't gotten back to me yet. I recommend however that we keep on top of this issue until we get some sort of response. Not to be a prick about it, because this is something that is relatively new. There wasn't a problem with this until one of the recent patches so something got screwed up along the way.

not trying to be that guy, but actually, the bug has been in the game since release... the first thing i did day one was build from blur to cloak. the problem is, as covered, with multiple powers, but it is cross all platforms and has been in the game since it was released. biggest problem in the game, imo. just hope it doesn't stay in much longer

*edit* messed up the quote function...derp
    Good morning Ark Hunters

It's entirely possible Darth that I just didn't notice until after one of the patches, so I'll assume that everyone who has said it's been there since day one is correct and I am mistaken. Don't worry about being " that guy " we're all trying to be " that guy ( or gal ) " and get this fixed so I'm not offended, I am happy for the constructive criticism, as I hope that the Defiance team will be when they read this thread. I intend to post a link of this thread to the responses Mr. Richardsson's blog.

Bump again for another day. If people have friends who use the forums and have this problem, please tell them where to find this thread and add their voice. We use exactly this method to fix this problem and we just have to work together.

    Cheers guys

Multiple loadouts only work for me if I want them to all have the same EGO power, perks and outfit.

On PC and I've had this bug since release day. It's super freaking annoying, renders multiple loadouts useless.

Edit: And while you're fixing this Devs, can we have a Keybinding to switch between loadouts?

I still don't understand how this made it to launch, and is not fixed in the first big patch. Unlike others on here, I do consider it game breaking. We don't have classes, we have EGO's and loadouts. It's total crap that I can't have a loadout for all 4 EGO powers with each loadout having perks related specifically to the EGO in that loadout.

I will try the PvP workaround though.. Thanks! Hopefully it works.
