Sometime Defiance just makes me want to scream....

Just finished the Hellbug Horror for the daily contract with a threat level of 10, which is a b**** as most probably know. The oven timer was going off for dinner and then I had a dog decide to barf up something green (ick), so I did not hit the x button on the "complete" screen with the scores at the end. When I came back in maybe 10 minutes later, it was frozen...no response...not from any buttons controller or even the PS button...had to hold the on/off button for the 30 seconds to reboot it so it can check the stupid disk.

I sometimes think the hard freezes are a good thing, so they give me time to go do other things while ps3 checks the stupid disk, like unload some dishes, or start a load of laundry, let the dogs out...that sort of thing, but other times it just makes me want to scream or cry.

I am assuming I got credit since I did get the score screen but all I did was leave that screen there for a few minutes...I mean seriously...WTH????

We have been working hard with our characters and really enjoy the game, the people, most of the events, but I really need to vent this out with people that will understand where I am coming from.

Thanks for tolerating it! I do feel better, just a little and my check disk is almost done as I type this. :-)

I feel your pain Bridget. Another lovely one is getting DC'd in WM (which happens A LOT to me) when you know the monkey is going to die (and then you get confirmation from all your clanmates that stayed in to the end). Only saving grace is our clan has been destroying WM for last week so I'm still lucky enough to beat it four or five times a day.

That blows, on a serious matter sometimes if you get the scoreboard come up and won't go, just wiggle the analogue stick a bit then press X. The Tollerences for the menus working with the stick position is about zero.

I finished a DM arkfall yesterday and after hitting X at the rewards screen I got booted.

I get dc'd and frozen a lot. My favorite is racking up 20-30k points in an incursion and losing it all on a time out, starting back at 0, stage 4 or so at Bathhouse.

Good times.
