    ^ First of all, an EMC LMG under the newer roll system should be on par or better than a drummer.

    Plateslicer is not the ideal synergy for an automatic weapon either.

    Ammo wise, I had zero issue with ammo as I simply pick up ammo from enemy drops. Considering I didnt have any ammo issue with a 31.2 firerate needler.

    We can sit down and do the DPS on a EMC LMG vs a vot disruptor, but EMC LMG most definitely would win. Also, remember the firerate on the disruptor card is completely wrong and inaccurate. The actual firerate on a vot disruptor is around 4.6.

    The EMC LMG can only be purchased with rep. So the comparison begins skewed out of the gate.
    I was/am comparing weapons that DROP. Which any player (especially new ones) can get. OR I am comparing weapons that are special drops against OTHER special drops.
    Note that in most of my comparisons (no "card damage"/min-max yammering) it has been simply how I do in particular fights with particular weapons.
    And my comparisons are always trying to make sure that a given weapon is being put up against something of equal rarity/ease of access.
    Eg. Drummer vs. Plateslicer Disruptor at Volge Sieges. Which from my experience tends to favour the Disruptor. And maybe that's because I know HOW to use a Disruptor. Especially a very good OJ one.
    As to ammo: You have lot's of it drop as well huh? Me too! And I pick it up after everything is dead. Don't have to worry about grabbing it during a fight/phase.
    Though I would love proof of your ammo pool not bottoming out during a late stage at a Volge Siege (where you would have to make an effort to pick up/hit the ammo box). But I know that isn't possible; but my experience is that high firerate weapons will have this happen. As you aren't going to neccesarily have time to run over to pile of dropped ammo in the middle of having 4 Viscera charging around you, while their Trooper buddies are lobbing grenades.
    In any case to new players: Don't be afraid to try the VOT Disruptor if you have a nice one drop. I would also watch for good SAW's; but stay away from the Volge Battlerifle. - THERE'S a sad-sack weapon if there ever was one in this game.

    If you use your Disruptor all the time then you aren't a very good damage dealer.I'll take an ammo box addict Tachmag user any day over a guy that uses a Disruptor because he doesn't want to get into the heat of the battle.

    I use a Tachmag for one job. And the Disruptor for another.
    Since I have a broad range of weapons to choose from I can do this and still post top score in most everything I participate in.
    And you have never seen me in a fight. So both your post and accusation are both baseless and without merit.
    Way to add to your massive post count by displaying your actual attitude toward others while making yourself look foolish by not reading before posting. You could have kept it at 4 instead of 5 and stayed looking a lot smarter.
    Thanks for coming out though.

    I dont need to see a person in battle to know whether he/she is effective or not. Math can easily proof it.

    For example, if someone only uses a shield protector, than he is definitely NOT effective without you even seeing him in combat.

    If someone uses a fire needler, he is likely to be effective.

    This^^Also,score doesn't reflect how much you helped in any way and the reason for that high score using Disruptors is due to Armor Break Points.

    Ok. I come in first/top 6 more often than not in the situations I have stated I use the weapon I am talking about.. Only have a small handful of people on PC/NA who have beat me in a standing start in the situations I have stated. And you aren't one of them.
    Math wins again.

    Thanks for helping MY argument.
    PS. I can see that the real argument here is based on a bunch of elitist types who think their word is the final one (which of course it is not. As the arguments they have presented have either been skewed or without any kind of real merit/proper baselining).
    Whereas mine comes from this; Anyone can pick up any weapon they want in this game and have fun with it. AND with a little learned ability plus reasonable rolls: They can do well with that weapon.
    There ARE weapons that are better than others (some of the weapons that have been mentioned in the posts above for instance); but they require luck (RNG), reputation, MONEY (Scrip or Real Money), or participation in special events (PLUS luck/RNG) to acquire.
    A good Disruptor in the early phases of leveling is not a weapon to poo-poo. And in rare cases (like the One I have) still viable for some jobs at maximum ego.
    'Nuff said.

    Score/= damage?

    Otherwise I would have millions of score in WM.

    As a matter of fact, high scores are often acquired through other tactics such as using BMGs.

    And here's why Disruptors are awful:
    -Awful DPS;
    -Not very good accuracy considering that they're long ranged weapons;
    -Unhelpful Pulse-fire
    -Huge drop in damage if one of the three sub-bullets misses
