Average to good damage. Based on a scale of poor to excellent
Good accuracy at long range when in aim mode (And this is a primary point on the next line). I don't know how people aiming; but I AIM. The only time I hip fire a disruptor is when I have to move away from nades/charging Viscera. THIS is it's weakness: It is a terrible hip fire weapon.
When in aim mode, and because of NO falloff: you shouldn't miss with many of the shells. Especially due to the plain fact there is not that much bloom (Especially in aim mode). At least not so much bloom as one would notice.
This is in the case of Volge/Big targets/large groups of course (as already cited).
I recommend aiming slightly low as well (Eg. On a Trooper or Viscera aim at the upper chest at long ranges)This not only mitigates missing with any of the shells; it also increases crit chance.

I agree with the falloff but I was under the impression the burst mag doubled the bullets fired.
No doesn't happen, the burst mag is for full autos, adding them to burst weapons does nothing
Though I believe in the early days of defiance iirc, there was a burst type mag for infectors which did add a shot to the burst, turning burst fire infectors into full autos, its possible that burst mags on autos may have made a difference but they certainly don't now
With that said I don't use burst weapons, but during valentine event there was a lot of disconnects which I found I could avoid by staying near the edges away from the people spawning vehicles on the matron, for this I needed a lmg and the only one I had was a hb disruptor so I used it, someone later suggested the burst mag which I broke synergy for and tried, it made no difference whatsoever, each burst still hit the matron 9 times for about 1500 dmg per pellet
Average damage you say?Let's use the stats of a Final Caress,which have higher damage than a normal Disruptor.Also,since Whit tested fire rate let's use his results.So,it's sonething like this:
(1700×3)×5=25500 DPS
Now let's compare it to it's full-auto AR sister:the VOT Blast Rifle.
(750×3)×15=33750
Now since the Disruptor has a longer range this seems balanced right?Well,the Final Caress that I uaed for this test is EGO 5400 while the VOT Blast Rifle that I used is only EGO 4750.So,explain(without using your Disruptor has an example since this is about all Disruptirs in general,not your Disruptor) how the Disruptor's DPS is "Average".

I know it might be hard to quit a game you loved for years but you have to understand that it won't get better. Ever. If you like the game in it's current state, then sure, keep playing it. You're enjoying yourself after all. But if you aren't, don't hope for a better future for Defiance. Because it won't come.

But its unique for an lmg. The range is insanely good and as long as you ADS the accuracy is awesome. No other lmg is remotely like it
