Im moaning because the game will be a ghost town very quickly. I want the show and game to succeed and run for a long time because i think it will be cool to play and watch the show. An honestly i think the only way for this game to keep a large enough community is to be free to play with a cash shop and paid expansions. I honestly feel as though they are just trying to milk the box sales till that dries up and then they well quickly switch over to free to play.

I'm inclined to agree with the last part.
Their shop is a f2p model at present (including xp boosts). All they will need to do is stop charging for the game and add bonuses for boxed copies registered there-after (Tera anyone?).

If you're that much of a cheapskate to moan about the initial fee of the game on release, don't play it.

They're using a F2P Scheme much like GW2 and it works great

Once again not crying about paying for the game or anything i could care less about the price. GW2 can use the Buy to play (not F2P) because it has a very large amount of people playing the game this does not and will die off quickly. GW2 has a lot more content then this game and keeps people playing.

This has alot of players on 3 systems it probably matches close to GW2. It will not die off quickly at all, just because you don't like the game doesn't mean it will die off.

I have no problem paying £27 for Defiance on the PC. Ive already gotten more play time out of it than I do most AAA releases these days. Most of which have about 6 hours solo play then all they have left is multiplayer pvp too.

I wonder about what is in the drinking water these days (besides fluoride). Who said DLC was coming out on April 15th. No one. It's a major patch that is coming, not DLC. DLC is later.

that's why they sell advertising and hope the show becomes a hit, so they can then ask for more advertising dollars.

It's frustrating to read random people on the internet try to be volunteer executive producers for a video game.

If you really feel so strongly, then pay a building full of people $40,000 a year salaries for several years to develop a game and then give that game away totally free. It'll be your money, so you can do what you want with it.

There's a reason why Trion is a successful gaming studio and you're a random dude with a keyboard and an internet connection. Sorry if that comes off as mean, but is it worse for you to sound so entitled or for me to call you out on sounding entitled?
