Fan Art Forums, where are they?

Sup folks? No love for Defiance fan art in these forums?

I know there has to be some talent floating around here. Writers, artists, music, video and Visual FX folks, hand puppeteers!! (lol) Cosplayers possibly?If you have something sketched up, roughed out, doodled, sewed stitched, stick figured or even composed post it, maybe we can get the CM here to create a fan art section.

My ID pic I made is fan art for defiance, its from all the images that's been posted on Google images. Made the character as pixel art, I hope they do allow us to make fan art

And the second, is one of the creepy crawly things in the trailer.


Thought that was one of the more epic shots in the trailer. calling it, "introduction" hehe.

Yea, more art, more fun thats for sure. However, there is a lot that the community can do with art that can actually help the developers get a feel for their (player) expectations as well. For instance, in the earlier days of online gaming, the question "Who are you in our world" was a great question to ask the player. This sort of design mentality encourages community creativity and encourages the players mentality of ownership of character and character actions in the game world. Right? So in terms of fan art we get a little imaginative, and use the question, posed as a challenge, "Who are YOU in Defiance?"

What do you want your character to look like? What weapons does it have? what is it wearing? You know, stuff like that. Long hair, short hair, eye patch? is he/she a miner in rafes corp, a merc? a bartender, uhhh a famous veteran in the defiance wars, right? Maybe that will spark some creativity. Im going to rough something out in the next few days I think for fun and see what I can come up with and then post it. Sounds fun enough.

On the other side, the benefit for the developers is a close idea of what maybe they can do in patches and so on to help you better personalize yourself and become part of the Defiance world.
