Anyone else prefer using the SMG's over the AR's (or any other weapon for that matter)?

I find their extremely high RoF to be amazing in midrange to close range combat. Rightfully so as that's what they're designed for I guess. Combine it with Overcharge perk and they destroy Blacklungs and their ilk.

Only downside is the sheer amount of ammo they chew through. I've managed to offset that a bit with the ammo scavenging perk though.

SMG fan here, love the style and fast reloads too...... with overcharge you can get reloads so fast you'll end up shooting like a maniac and end up with no ammo fast. All part of the fun and play. lol

They are fun!

I used one all through my alpha and beta gameplay. I just haven't found a suitable one in live yet. I look forward to the one I do find that meets my expectations.

I'm a SMG and LMG aficionado.. I love them.. so good..

Yeah, I prefer to use SMG with that ammo type. The damage you can crank out over time is just amazing because of the reload time and rate of fire.
