There's still a lot of of the original PC developers on the PC side of the game. As far as the Development Team not responding to bugs, that's patently false I can testify that having worked as a dev myself. Just because the fix appears simple doesn't mean it's 1) Easy to Fix and 2) A priority fix.
A game of this complexity has a lot of moving parts and often it's not as simple as modifying a value in code. Especially if this was written in C++ which is by and far an incredibly complex (if robust) language. Fixing one line of code can break it a million other places. I can almost guarentee the internal test team is working their butt off to ensure they aren't sending out broken patches and the dev team is working overtime to patch up what's broken now. Expectations for a fully functional product within the next month should be set to "Very Low." Try 3 months.
