Vanishing shop

I was looking around for secret vendors when I noticed a shop icon just north-west slightly of the reservoir chicken challenge but as I approached it vanished.

Anyone know if this was a bug or some kind of secret?

There's a few of them in game. You have to kill some mobs to open them up. There's a post around here somewhere with the info. I believe it's in a thread that talks about car vendors.

Aye I discovered 3 of them but this one isn't the same, confused to where it went

There are a couple of side missions that you get sent too that once completed will open up a vendor there as well as a few of the roadblock vendors. Those all pop up and disappear on the map all the time.
