OJ Gernades not Looting

I've heard other people mention this in zone chat as well but just generally saying something about Grenades not looting. I then noticed it myself because I'm a BMG healer most of the time for the events and I run around healing people and throwing grenades as I go. As far as I can tell it is only the OJ grenades that are not looting because when I switch to purps I have no problem. I cleared all of my loadouts and tried it in various situations such as Alcatraz, seiges, minor arkfalls and normal majors along with the holiday majors and cannot loot any of my OJ grenades at all. I can still buy them from the store though.

I can't get an orange grenade. On average I have played 4 days a week for since defiance came out. For a year and a half I have been trying to get an orange grenade. I do the elite lock box 4 times a week. I still have not been able to get an orange grenade in anything I do. I think something is wrong with that.

Baelfyr your talking about an RNG (Random Number Generator) issue. Pulling OJ Grenades is definitely a challenge an they're quite rare but you can find them for sale in the buying and trading forums. The fact that I can't loot them when playing is a game-play issue and a bug/glitch that started with the latest update. The issue with OJ grenade rarity from drops is by design.

So 1000 lock boxes and 20,000 or more grenade drops is just the luck of the random number generator. Pretty sure they are not suppose to be that rare.
