So lemme get this straight: Most of you complain about an exploit that was being fixed that you knew would get fixed eventually?
I can understand that it sucks it not being mentioned in the Patch Notes at all, I was surprised as well when I saw the first thread(s) on the forums.

Also, the presents are, like their name says already, presents. Originally, Halloween and Thanksgiving didn't even give presents, Christmas was the first time we had them. They were in no way obligated to give us anything for free, and yet they did.
And now people first are crying that they can't trade presents anymore when some people farmed them with 5+ accounts and got ~20 jackpots with each event, all Ego 5k+. Now you're crying they fixed an exploit most of you kinda liked and abused, or even better, cry about the presents they got.
It's something for free, and yes, I can understand the frustration not getting anything from Arkfalls (2 Weeks farming Arkfalls non-stop brought me one whole jackpot weapon from Majors, so yes, I know what it feels like. Some have received none at all, which is probably even more frustrating). My weeklies haven't been what I would have liked either, but I know it's something free.

What I do agree on is RNG being sucky, giving out jackpots from majors to the same people all the time while some are just unlucky. I also agree that the non-trading thing now that the claim bug is gone is a bit stupid. What I do not agree on is some people whining they can't abuse the system anymore.

Exactly what I was thinking. It's staggering how many people have a false sense of entitlement here. Sad really.

The only reason they're crap egos is because you got them with crap toons. Level all your toons up and earn gifts for each one. I've seen plenty of people with multiple 5900 ego toons. It can be done.

Pushing people into buying character slots just two weeks ago and now making them useless. This is corporate greed at its finest.

Are you serious? You bought extra slots and got them. Those slots don't come with free max ego weapons. Why should they?

If Trion suddenly made it so that your main toon only got low ego gifts and jackpots THEN you'd have a right to complain. Right now you're just angry that you can't get tons of weapons with your main toon by itself. We'll take some solace in the fact that no one else can either. Now everyone has to play the game the same where every toon is unique.

You're so right--what with Trion giving everything you need to play the game for free and all. How incredibly greedy of them. Can't believe they'd pull something like this.

OR.......is it the players' greed for tons of named weapons and shields which they can trade for whatever they think they're worth and or that they can spend time on the forums and zone chat bragging about who has the most <whatever>?

But you CHOSE to spend all that you never HAD to. I also chose to spend money. Bought the ultimate edition then just dropped some more on expansion slots. I'm not crying about it because it was my choice to do so. Trion offered me (and everyone else) everything I need to play their game for FREE. Just because you don't feel like you should have to pay for all the extras doesn't mean you're right. I don't feel that I should have to pay taxes but I do. I do it so my garbage gets picked up and my roads get repaired, etc. if no one pays taxes then all that **** we take for granted literally piles up. Too many people are taking Trion for granted here. How do you expect them to keep the lights on with no income? So you've spent some money. Good. Spend some more to get things faster to r so it the slower FREE way. Your choice. But don't whine about them offering a faster way of getting what you want or more addons (slots,toons etc) at a price.

You guys don't know me so don't try to tell me why I am angry.

Trion made it virtually impossible for me to get the one weapon I wanted when they made the weekly pulls untradable. I had to rely on a broken RNG for that so I did everything I could to max my chances.
If you think that this makes me a cheater or thief or whatever well...
