These so called free items are the equivalent of a free cell phone that they forget to mention it doesn't come with a charger until you buy it. then tell you you can only get it through them.is that really a free phone ? Are they really giving us free stuff if you buy inventory slots ,extra characters,extra copies of the game for friends.the changes that they slipped in were intended to prevent players from circumventing bit boxes.but isn't there a better way to get people to bit boxes.trions tactics are more of a kick in the nuts than an adjustment.for the most part the defiance players are hardcore defiance devotees.we love the game.be more respectful of your clients .increase the price of the patrons pass or make an old roll lock box ,sell us cool stuff.making these changes and telling us your giving us free stuff is deceptive way to increase your loot.your better than that and we deserve better.

I completely agree even though I didn't do the weekly with multiple characters because I got guns already but none the less the RNG in this game is terrible. Tell me if you wouldn't resort to using multiple characters to get jackpots if you did about 2-3 hundred majors and only getting 2 OJ's from them and the rest being nothing but blues that will NEVER be as good as an OJ even with the new roll system.

Tell me, wouldn't you be just as upset seeing blues the entire event and buying their boxes in the bit store are just a huge scam considering the drops are just as bad from those as the major arkfalls.

The sad fact is that they already made the weapons untradable and also fixed the exploit. By all means do one but not the other, that just blatantly forces you to the boxes in the bits store.

Exactly, but they don't seem to get it, that not everybody wants to put real money into something that gives nothing of use almost 90% of the time.

Another thing I'm upset about is the fact that I bought a corporate espionage box for 1 mil scrip and 48 keys and the one time the RNG gives me something I want, which was the EMERALD SOLDIER outfit, I went to my inventory to put it on and it wasn't there. So, I submitted a ticket regarding my issue and I got a response basically telling me I was full of crap and didn't get the outfit even though it was in my rewards tab in english, but hey what do I know I only the customer playing this craptastic game that used to be a lot fun because it actually felt like a chase for better loot. Now, it just feels like a big chase for our wallets even more than it did before.

forget that I'll just run expert co-ops until I get carpal tunnel before I give them a dime. $20=1 weapon upgrade or Weapon EGO increase by 2000 EGO.

Honestly if the game keeps going this route, I think the show may outlast the game.

we have said many times if they just lower the cost of items in the bit store more people would buy bits because more people could afford them but they continue to ignore that fact.

I've probably done just as much shooting as you. And you should know that that doesn't even matter. But you thought it sounded cute, didn't you?

Tell me then, what SHOULD I do with two of the same weapon? On my main character? This has nothing to do with low ego toon farming. For me its about being able to trade weapons you don't want or can't use. In turn making the scrip to buy or flat out trade for something you CAN use. But with the items untradeable, it DOES screw players who have the unfortunate luck of pulling doubles. Of course you don't care cuz it wasn't you.

I mean, I came in with like 6 of the near 30 jackpot weapons available for this event, and still can't get anything different.. and there's no recourse. So the system implemented to make SURE we get something worthwhile for our time spent arkhunting.. something they actually did right.. is now wrong. Just like the rest of the game.

You've done more shooting than me. I guarantee it. You missed my point entirely. What should you do with multiple guns? Sell the ones you can or breakdown the ones you can't...that's what everyone will do. Have I pulled doubles? Yes. It sucks but since I've already got one I don't feel bad about taking out the trash. I think of them the same way I think of all the duplicates I find at arkfalls--I can't even count how many blackened hellfire repeaters I've picked up--keep what is useful or sellable and vendor/breakdown the rest.

How can a random system know exactly what you need or want? You're bound to get duplicates. As for the non-tradable aspect well if the rumours are true, and it happened because of the farming and such then it seems that those who were most vocal about it to Trion got their way--a farming roadblock that affects everyone equally.

All I'm saying is that there are so many posts blasting Trion about how greedy they are and how they owe everyone something are really unfounded if you take a step back and look at the situation. They gave the game for free--everything you need to play it successfully with the option to upgrade at a price (whether or not it's a reasonable price is subjective). Then when they don't give something away that they never intended to give away in the first place (baby toon gun farming) any more people are upset because it affects their chances at getting what they want. The problem is that they never did anything about it sooner so people came to accept and expect it.

Unfortunately everyone is now affected by it. But it's not necessarily a bad thing. It's just unexpected and a bit disheartening at first. Soon it will be the norm and then something else will be introduced (good or bad). Not being able to sell or trade an item is basically like not getting anything at all. It's a lottery--not everyone will be a winner (me included).

Edit: By the way I don't blame the farmers. As mentioned I'd have done it too bad I been around long enough and it seemed to be the norm. I don't blame anyone really. I just choose to point out the reality of the situation in a virtual world.

Just my opinion but it would have been better if the game never went FTP because people from before FTP have seen a lot of trolls join the game that can do nothing but attack others for the way they play the game in zone chat because of using a bmg at arkfalls but hey who cares they got their way I got mine and mine is fill them with holes...

Oh and one more thing to those people that do what I just mentioned, "TOP SCORE MEANS NOTHING AT MAJORS thanks to horrible RNG."

but heres the true fact, DEFIANCE WOULDN'T HAVE MADE IT 2 YEARS IF IT WASN'T FOR THE VETERAN PLAYERS THAT PREORDERED AND BOUGHT THE GAME INITIALLY AND BOUGHT BITS OR THE FTP PLAYERS BUYING THINGS FROM THE BIT STORE WILLINGLY WHEN THEY COULD HAVE NOT SPENT ANY MONEY, NOT GOT THE GAME AND LET IT FAIL.
