    No world interaction prematurely ends Decoy, in my experience. I cannot speak on the other powers.

    With the scaling that occurs in this game, ammo boxes are a necessity.

    I think it's a balanced system, in that the person that's shooting wastefully, is running off to refill more often, doing less damage, and has a less likely chance of being rewarded at the end (this part is me assuming there is a weight system to the loot lottery)

    And even if there is no loot lottery weighting... I don't know about you guys/gals... but when I hit an Arkfall, my goal is to be in the top 5 every time. So ammo efficiency is paramount.

    But even with "perfect" ammo efficiency, you WILL run out of ammo, long before the Arkfall has reached its conclusion.
    I'm suggesting that they do increase the chance of ammo dropping from mobs, or make it a guaranteed drop from larger enemies like Elite Hellbug Warriors. Then there is an actual point of shooting the trash mobs. Because like you I focus all my firepower on the larger enemies and just ignore the small mobs running around. That is how you place in the top 3 and I do it frequently.

    It would deepen the gameplay and force people to think more about what they are doing.

    I feel like adding ammo crates to Arkfall areas was just a quick fix, and that trion should seriously look into changing the ammo drops from trash mobs.

    And if they don't want to do that, then why not just give us infinite ammo? It would fix your issue of running out of ammo for your LMG.

    Are you guys starting to see my point? The way ammo and ammo crates are implemented into the game right now is redundant.

    But then I'm being forced to take my attention off of the Monarchs and Boss creatures. Basically this would create a choice of:

    ~Do you stop and run to an ammo crate when you get low
    ...or...
    ~Do you stop and run around killing trash mobs when you get low.

    Either way, you have to stop what you're doing*, and run off to get ammo. It's 6 of one, a half dozen the other. (IMO)

    *Unless, of course, what you're doing is killing trash mobs.

    Would it be a decent compromise, at all, in your eyes, if ammo boxes did not refill all the way? Making you have to refill twice to top off, keeping you out of battle even longer, and thus being a more significant detriment to being careless/inefficient with your gunplay?

    I do get what you're saying, I just don't think zero ammo boxes or infinite ammo are viable alternatives.

    Ammo efficiency doesn't mean anything now though. You don't have to be efficient with it at all if you can just run over to a crate and instantly get full ammo. Then you can just go back to shooting like a madman without any thought behind it.

    Ammo drops from mobs don't instantly restore all your ammo, which actually gives people a reason to be more efficient with their ammo.

    I would definitely be behind having ammo boxes only restore some of your ammo. Or maybe have them set on a cooldown. That way being efficient with your ammo actually means something.

    One way I would like it to be is put permanent ammo location and remove the ammo crate spawning everywhere there is an arkfall cuz I do feel there is too much crate handy... I remember the first arkfall I did and runni g out of ammo. The tension was fun

    That tension you felt was because ammo efficiency actually mattered then. It deepened the game experience and made it more fun.

    I feel like we're all starting to fall on the same page. It's not about infinite ammo anymore, its about how to bring ammo efficiency back into the game in a meaningful way.

    (boy am i getting tired of typing "Ammo Efficiency")
