I know it might be hard to quit a game you loved for years but you have to understand that it won't get better. Ever. If you like the game in it's current state, then sure, keep playing it. That's not how it works. Your right to free speech is only a protection against government censorship and punishment. You do not have the right to say what you want with regards to private entities such as business, churches, etc. They all have the right to refuse service and/or have you removed from their premises if they wish. You also agreed to a contract with Trion when you created an account on these forums that if you did not follow their rules of conduct that they could remove your account.
