I'm 134 but have one bud in the low 500's and one in the mid 400's. Unlike me, i guess they keep playing no matter how goofy the game gets due to lag... i just turn it off.

Around 400 or so, the highest rank is 4000. It gives you the Ark Predator outfit (which looks so smexy)

By the way, if you're running the main quest line don't skip the side missions/timetrials like i did early on, ensure you do them all & complete the pursuits - I've just completed 1st and 2nd area pursuit challenges for the outfits and went up about 200ego in the process, sadly i wasted so much time going back, grrrrrrr.

As others have pointed out - get involved in the Ark Falls, the XP pay off at the end is well worth it and brings some diversity if you're just grinding through the quests or whatnot.

I've not noticed many Lag issues like some have mentioned, apart from during Ark Falls (which is to be expected with the amount of players around, that's more Xbox performance), If you're lagging try to keep away from crowded spots - I had to once when an Ark Fall pop'd up in the middle of a time trial course!!!!
