How large is the filesize for this game?

Seriously... I've gone through several "Patch Error"s and now I'm about 50% through with a download, but I checked the folder for Defiance's size...

23.5 GB Seriously? How big is this game supposed to get?

Is it just me or is there something seriously wrong here?

I posted a similar thread with no replies. Anyone with the game fully installed mind telling us how large the folder for this game is? I've had two 11 hour downloads and an 8 hour download in progress and my file size is almost 17gb now. I thought the digital download page said something like 10gb (not 20+). I haven't been able to play this for three days because I've been downloading off and on for 30 hours.

EDIT: My 8 hour download just finished and my Filesize went from 17GB down to 10.4GB (and I can now play the game.) Not sure why we had to download an extra 7-10GB for no reason but there you have it.

The final game size, as of today, is 10.4GB.

If you have previous (Failed) patches downloaded, it's obviously going to be bigger. Take a look in your "live" folder in your Defiance install location, if there are files names 49 50 51 and so on, the newest files is the highest number.

My first failed download was in file "50" and the good download was file "51" so i deleted file "50" and all it's contents, and the game downloaded and installed just fine the second time around.
