Life Of MMO gaming from a consumer.

Yea, but the issue is not that the game is broken it just cant handle the load and you cant find out all the possibilities that hundreds of thousands of users if not more will experience hitting the servers. Its not just a game thing its a computer/server/IT thing. I hear where you are coming from but unless someone can honestly say they could do this without issue I don't know what the solution would be besides what other companies have done, which is just not make the game.

I understand where you are coming from. Xbox games usually work out of the box. MMOs for the most part do not. This is a unique game and will have growing pains. Yes you would have a right to be upset, if and only if, Trion was not working their butts off to fix it. Having 40 million posts complaining about isn't going to help. Does anyone really think their precious post is going to bring up anything Trion isn't already well aware of?
I guess xbox users are not ready for this type of game.

I don't find this much of an excuse at all. A responsible consumer researches what they are purchasing so they have a better idea of where their money is going. If people took the time to research that this would be an MMO, then googled MMO, they would have gotten a scent that they are notorious for not having the best of launches and could have better prepared for the possibility that Defiance may have some of these common issues that many MMOs share at launch. Of course that is not going to make the situation all flowers and sunshine, but it is up to you (the consumer) to make the call on whether or not you can deal with the company polishing up the servers and game, and having less play time than you might have anticipated. I have a feeling that many of the ridiculous and non-contructive posters who have posted about how unbearable it is saw the game advertised, said sweet, and sent in a pre order without a second thought.
You can call me a tad bit biased because I have played MMOs before, but I researched Defiance, determined that launch will probably be sub-par, and made sure that I had other games and such to fill my time while servers were to be down for maintenance. Everyone who has access to the Internet has information literally at their fingertips. The "We play Xbox, we expect such and such" isn't an excuse.

Hey, I am not against telling Trion what's wrong. That needs to be put in the technical section. Tell all of us what you feel is wrong is not going to be get it fixed, we do not work for Trion. Not saying not to voice your concerns, just put it in the proper area.

if the others had half a brain they could find the other 5,000,000 posts about what is going on.... specially in the area designed for it.

The OP is going to be furious at the next generation of console gaming. Between focusing on digital downloads, various online privacy protections, and quicker release schedules.... Issues are going to start spreading to non-MMOs at a high rate.
