If I max out a certain weapon do I stop getting skill experience for that weapon type? Like if I max an AR do I have to switch ARs to keep getting AR skill exp?

Yep it sucks because i want to lvl lmgs but cant find any replacement for my old one ..
was wondering the same thing myself... after testing the answer is yes you still get weapon type skill xp when you max out a specific weapon xp. you follow? think about it. if we are able to mod our weapons to make them more powerful no need for switching to get more skill in that weapon type
