30% self revive mastery

Why were they even removed? I would also like to see them come back.

Because a lot of people "insisted" that they were useless rolls. Kind of like they are currently doing about melee rolls. So Trion listened to them and removed self revive rolls and masteries. Then a year or so later added content that would make those rolls useful. Personally I think it's kind of dumb to constantly "ask" that things be removed from a game because you don't like it. However a lot of people do so.

Yep, asking for the removal of stuff is dumb. Chances are we will never see these come back into the game now.

I see a few of them still at it today. Very average at pvp yet they complain the most about weapons and probable cheaters.

This was pre arkforge and thus pre remastering.You got this roll and you trashed the gun.Only now for the past month did this roll have any worth.The last half dozen posts condemning the removal of a garbage mastery (at the time) is a bit silly.

Really so EVERYBODY in game thought it was a garbage roll? I know that isn't true. It may not have been useful to the people who whined about it but it was still useful to others. I liked them because, most people are to busy killing things to help revive people. So it made it possible for me to revive myself more often without having to HOPE somebody would bother looking down and pick me up. Also if everyone trashed those guns upon getting that mastery, then none would still exist. However soem do so obviously it was not useless to everyone.

Btw what is silly is those that insisted it be removed now asking that it be brought back. If they never insisted it be removed then they wouldn't have to beg for it's return. Now if Trion does return it it will be in an upcoming content patch and be listed as new content. Just like the ability to see the mod synergies on a gun by clicking retrieve mod is.

I agree, it's like the + damage on the next grenade, it's really a bad roll, unless they make the grenade a pocket nuke and unable us to carry stacks of 100.. it still would suck, because of the next grenade part unless they change it to the next stack . I generally forget about grenades most fights, they really don't matter to my play style. Just my personal opinion, could remove grenades from the game and I'd barely notice , unless I was out of ammo.


When they made the new content require/prefer a self refresh boost, when they removed the roll in the past, didn't they didn't know this roll was being removed as the were developing it ? and removing it.

Qip never said everybody asked for it to be removed. This is the first I've heard of someone liking that roll who played back then. Congrats!

If Trion was smart they'd put this roll back in. Oj remastering has to be 1 of the biggest ark forge dumps. They'll make a killing off their p2w players.

I have one,im wondering how well it works in alcatraz because I have yet to complete one expedition.I always end up on tier 22 cause my ego.I had my loadout stacked with syphon and anything else that would help but so far ive ran out of hunter reqs before the golden skitters or boss fight.thats why I started the thread.but to add to the tangent this thread has gone off to.if the did bring a self revive mastery back it wouldn't be anywhere near 30% for sure.

Sorry, I'll try to be more constructive. Siphon is for sure a life saver but you have to remember that it only takes a portion of the damage you inflict. If you don't break their armor or if you can't hit crit spots which goes straight through armor you won't do much damage and won't steal much. Your best bet is to start shooting 1 enemy at a time with a bio weapon then switch to siphon when your health gets low. This tactic applies more to bugs or anything heavily armored.

Revive perks are great and all but will only take you so far. I would focus more on staying alive. Dont bother w/ damage perks until you get more comfortable.
