IS it just me or is this really short?

I find it funny that the people who rush passed all the side missions turn around and complain about the games lenght when this games core quest line is more involved then most other MMo's. The only diffrence here is content isn't gated by lvl so you are able to skip all the side quest that other Mmo's basicly force you to do so that your lvl is appropriate for the next zone. This game gives you that sand box option of doing what you want when you want and yet people complain about lack of content because they didn't get held by the nose and lead from one quest to the next in a completely linear fashion much like Rift/WoW/EQ2 etc etc.. It's almost like players want to be lead around like mindless zombies instead of actually doing what they want how they want and just having fun instead of I need +1 more dmg to feel some since of accomplishment. I spent years playing SWG and other games basicly makeing my own fun. I lasted in those games far longer then the standard do this linear quest path and get to lvl 60 that current MMo's push. Finaly a game that goes the other way and the players can't seem to manage content themselves its a shame. I'm Ego 525 and I'm roughly half way through the second area's persuits and I've only done a hand full of pvp and 2 ark falls. There is a redicilous amount of content still to be done.

this games core quest is in no way as near involved as almost everyother mmo, even with the sidequests its sorely lacking in content, i have played mmo's where only the main quest has taken weeks, this game took me 6 days to do all main and episode and side quests. and i think people waiting for the show to air tomorrow are gonna be sorely dissapointed if they expect anything other than a few more episode missions, and the first dlc has been pushed back by 3 weeks at least, the simple fact is the content for this game is very small and what content that it does have is the same content recycled over and over and the rest is pure grind, i like the game, but theres just not enough too it and i'm really not hopefull about the amount and speed at which they will add new content in the future, i'm guessing maybe a year from now the game may have the amount of content it should have been launched with.

I've logged 59 hours of game time and I'm only 584 EGO and I'm just in the middle of sausalito coarse I've spent the last 2 days and 107 try's at getting a silver in Hotshot Moonshine Shack and it's freaking ticking me off so much so that I broke my knuckles on the tree outside cause I was so pissed off. My dog is sensing my anger and ran peeing a trail all the way to my wife and hiding behind her, I'll get it eventually weather I have a house standing when I do will be another thing.

How many of those did not have gated content? I know of no MMO that has a story line mission, that when put back to back, takes anymore than a day or 2 to finish if they were not level gated.

I'm EGO 1116 and I haven't even started on the main story line in SF yet. There are so much more to do in this game than just the story mission, and I'm sorry that you and others can't seem to see that (and I'm not just talking about pursuits). This is an open world, sandbox style game; sure there are missions, but by no means are you required to do them to have fun. It's a sandbox, you can make your own fun, and that's how I've earned at least half of my EGO level. Just general shenanigans.

i just finished doing all the side quests and main story line and im at 664 ego. someone said that more missions will come out when the show launches or something? so that means we have to wait a week before more content comes out.

if we are going to have to wait every episode for new missions to come out this game is going to fail.

I think that so many players are let down because they are comparing it to an MMO like WoW, GW2 and Rift. I for one was let down and I'm sure the majority of players over ego level 600 were to. It feels like they release half of the MMO and making us wait for the other half, such as DLCs and episode missions. I don't understand why people defend this game.. it clearly lacks content. Fishboy is right, another year and this game will be great, but it should have been great in the first place..

If you say the game is too short please post a screen shot of your pursuit page all filled out. Then people will feel for you, and tell you to go outside once a week at least.


I agree the game needs more content, its always going to be the case when the main story is good. A good story can never be too long imo.

But the show hasn't even started yet, so I understand limitations. Im sure within a few months of DLC this wont be the issue in the slightest. Trion is good with content.

Your post seems confused. On the one angle you say there's a few weeks of content and that they need to add more, and on the other angle you say that unless you've done every pursuit you haven't beaten the game. Since that's an absurd criteria to base game completition on (you don't have to fill out some arbitrary check list to beat everything a game has to offer) I can only assume you mean you agree with the rest of us that the game is too short.

If the weekly episode missions are anything like the once we got the first week of the game. They will be able to be done in just a few short hours. So saying that new content comes each week is a mute point. As it will more then likely be a chain of about 3-5 missions that can be done that same day.

8 hours and 300 ego? You clearly skipped every side quest as many others have probably already said. I did all side quests and main missions and gold medal the races for the black dodge and I finished main missons just over 700 ego.
