I honestly wish I had something positive to say about the dev team or customer support because once upon a time, I truly loved this game. Unfortunately, the dev team only focuses on ways to empty the wallets of the players. The devs have ignored every single PM I have ever sent and customer support is ATROCIOUS(I worked in customer service for 7 years and would have lost my job if the service I provided was even a fraction as bad as the service that I have received from TW).

Hear, hear. I still feel this question burning on the back of my neck. Even worse, I finally watched the 1st season of Defiance last week. Imagine me discovering, only now, only after this whole issue, that the Night Porter is an *actual* outfit in the TV Show!

But, for what it's worth, I think that Team Defiance is 100% honest/good people, and most of all, that's the main reason behind a loyal community. What I truly mean to say by this is that I don't see these guys taking decisions to screw the community. Like the rest of us, they have good ideas and bad ideas, and they are not infallible gods. I prefer to work with people that are humble enough to recognize their mistakes and do the best they can to correct them. And I have seen this attitude from Team Defiance, several times.

For example, they may dodge the hard questions from time to time, but perhaps they're learning with errors past (like the Night Porter one) that words are easily interpreted the wrong way -- and about that, I truly think Defiance could use the PTS community (or a secret one) to also TEST press-releases, before they officialy made it. All the questions, doubts and issues would be solved there, before releasing them in public.

I had more contact with PhantasieTrion and Kiwi, and in all opportunities, we had excellent interactions. I have always found that addressing people with elaborate, polite questions yield more results - if you are relentless on your quest. I also think the Team -- specially Kiwi -- spends time with the community, which is awesome.

For now, I *think* they have got the sense that they need to discuss internally a schedule to address a list of priorities for the game that is not only commercial. I understand they gave priority to season 3 changes, since they are tied up to the show. Now that we have passed this mark, we need several bugs fixed. They're working actively on the Warmaster and hard freezes, but we have incursions and contracts glitching, as the main stressing issues now.

All in all, Defiance offers an experience that I never thought possible on last gen consoles. I have said this more than once: I am proud to be an Arkhunter. And to play a game where I actually make a difference, talking to the developers. Even if, like the rest of us, I have to say it 137 times.

For taking the time to help me with forum and in-game concerns and issues. My appreciation goes to Kiwibird. You have been quick to respond and have either directed me to understanding or passed on the information for (in this instance) a very quick fix. You are appreciated and I wanted to to say Thank you for all the help.

    Cheers

Agreed! I mean, honestly, that's what keeps me here. I remember a time when the game was a ghost town, no one on the team would respond to posts, and updates were scattershot at best. Since the new team took over and made it F2P, it's improved by leaps and bounds. (I remember a time with no zone chat and being unable to unequip weapons. Oh, and being booted from vehicles was a constant.) I feel like we have their ear in a way we didn't before, which is great.

I don't agree with everything they've done (HRs are still a thorn in my side) but I still think the game's always been in a state of improvement.

I honestly think Defiance has an awesome dev team. But I alos know policy is set at the corporate level.
So Dev team +5. Corporate.....not so much.
