I'm pretty far in the game I've done nothing but missions an side missions and the 4wheeler I have is at lvl 6 I believe. Every vendor I have been to doesn't have other vehicles to purchase. I've only found the different colors for the 4 wheelers.

seeing this thread just answered my question on why I got kicked and couldn't get back on. I glad they are doing it now before the weekend starts....cause that's all im doing is playing defiance all weekend long
