How to get Legendary Weapons

Eh for some it does not, but who really cares anyways, I dont really want a legendary unless it has the right synergy etc. I'm not in a rush myself im just pushing through all the white/green/purps until I max out my skill.

The only way which is stupid to get legendary weapons is by buying the lock boxes with the 4 random items, the first one will always be a legendary so save your resources until you get 64 codes but they still suck so dont be mad when you get a crappy orange weapon!!! Save until you get higher ego because by the time you use it you will have found a better drop item thats not legendary.....I thought legendarys were supposed to be rare and powerful???NOTTT

Bought mine from the random 1hour item in supply stores. Was a VBI ar and other then it coming with some synergy, there really wasnt anything special about it. The full xp bonus from it was nice though, so they may be arguebly more powerfull.
The legendary shotgun Ive gotten was from a major arkfall, it sucked so I sharded it.

2nd.. you are complaining they are so rare and a pain to get, especially the ones you like yet..

Console gamers are handicapped, this is why microsoft shut down cross platform gaming, because in their trials and tests the pc gamer always won, i can look forward and back 5 times in 3 seconds, i can shoot with pinpoint accuracy, a console gamer with a joypad can not. console gamers playing mmo, grats ur now a nerd to, go tell a supermodel you play defiance, sure it will be so cool you will get laid. mods are what drive creativity in the devs and players, without pc's you wouldn't be playing defiance you would still be playing 16 man cod maps of run and gun menstrual teens.

I am completely confused. This is my 1st time ever playing an MMO and I understand nothing. Can someone give me the "Defiance for Dummies" version on how I can get all these weapons, mods & synergies (don't even know what those are)? Seems like I never really get a better gun. Been using the same pistol and rifle the whole time and they do squat damage, so a lot of the missions, I am getting annihilated on. Please help if possible.

Legendary weapons still are bound to RNG. Just as you can get a nice blue or purple one, you can also get bad ones.
And you don't need to get Tier 4 boxes for them. I got mine in Tier 2 Boxes.

I got a purple shield and orange weapon for 3 tier 2 boxes. Lucky, maybe. Worth it, yes. Yeah, so the orange weapon was a lock on rocket launcher and I instantly sold it, but it's whatever.

All my best stuff came from tier2 boxes got 3 weapons and a pyro grenade so far. My trouble seems to be findng a half decent shield which is funny as in beta thats all they seemed to have

You can get good grenades and shields from the major ark falls. I've had purple drops a lot out of them for both.

I wouldn't worry or get that excited about orange items - the ones I've gotten are really no better than the greens I had anyway.
