How to get Legendary Weapons

Does anybody know the best place to get legends from lockboxes? I got an orange shield from the vendor southeast of iron demon ranch from a t3 lockbox, my friend told me overpass was the best place and not to buy them from basecamp. I don't know maybe I'll just stick with the vendor that I got my shield from.

As far as I know it doesn't matter where you buy your lockboxes, you'll have the same chance of getting a rare. Some people will have got more rares from certain vendors but it's probably just a coincidence.

Console gamers are handicapped, this is why microsoft shut down cross platform gaming, because in their trials and tests the pc gamer always won, i can look forward and back 5 times in 3 seconds, i can shoot with pinpoint accuracy, a console gamer with a joypad can not. console gamers playing mmo, grats ur now a nerd to, go tell a supermodel you play defiance, sure it will be so cool you will get laid. mods are what drive creativity in the devs and players, without pc's you wouldn't be playing defiance you would still be playing 16 man cod maps of run and gun menstrual teens.

ive bought 5 level 4 lockboxes and not received an orange or purple item yet, all blue and greens.. just my luck

I have wasted keycodes and Real money bits on lockboxes numerous tier 4s tier 3s and tier 2 and HAVE never gotten a orange anything and rarelty any purple only 2 so far nothing I wanted my favorite guns are 2 purples I bought and rebought since stupid game froze and lost items 4 times from machines seriously if I use 50 real money dollars and dont get a purple which I did something isnt right really. I know people who are just lucky lol they have legendary shields and guns and never spent a penny. I dont want to be overpowered just want to not have to literally spend tons of money and tons of time to obtain my orange perk..... IDK I think a Tier 4 lockbox should give oranges 50 percent of time. 64 codes after they took away keycodes from events or 400 or so bits should give you something decent that literally 8-15 hours of playtime.

8-15 hours?? You serious? 64 keys shouldnt take more than 2 hours.. and like 45 minutes if ur converting all salvage to keys...

Tier 4 boxes have a higher odds but nothing is guaranteed. Keep trying or ask if anyone is selling

I have 4 legendaries to sell/trade, VOT blaster snipe, tele spanner, innoculator and sawn off.
I would like some sort of trade for orange grenade or shield if possible.
