Is it wrong of me to intentionally lure hellbugs or mutants to people who are just sitting in the game tying up server space so they get killed?
When I find someone who doesn't move for a long time I go find hellbugs or mutants and get them to follow me back to where they are, then sit and watch them get killed. lol I know it's messed up but it's also hilarious.

I was idle in game yesterday for 10 minutes, while I put my daughters to bed. When I went back to game I was kicked, don't know if it was from being idle or just the game atm. If it's for being idle, then people wasting server space are getting kicked after so long doing nothing anyway.
They maybe looking through their inventry doing some salvaging and not actualy afk.
Its one reason I try to do inventry sorting at a town or safe place because of people like the OP.
No, the last guy I did it to was in the same spot after I completed 3 side missions and one main. The first time I did it I was with my brother on our way to do a set of arkfalls. we past 2 guys hiding on the way there. We completed 3 arkfalls in that area. That took some time to do. We headed back to where we were the same way and on the way past back by the 2 guys. Figured it was a good spot to check new loot then my bro went to smoke a cig. I got bored and got some near by random hellbugs to fallow me to where they were. But hey I didn't discriminate I let them kill my bro too. But as many problems as the xbox servers are having I figure I found a fun way to help out. lol.
Just like any mmo, I've paid to play it so if i'm afk and "tying up server space" that's my right.
It's funny as hell so just do it for a laugh. But saying it's to free up server space... it shouldn't need freeing up, especially yesterday I was in San Francisco area for almost 6 hours and didn't see another human player anywhere
It is fun but if your unlucky enough to do this to a person who isnt afk its called griefing and not looked kindly upon by gms if you do it all the time.
San Francisco is refreshingly empty, it's nice sometimes doing whatever the hell I want and not be bothered to pay attention to whoever is around me. And I don't claim to be an expert on the servers, but just because San Francisco is empty, I'm not exactly sure the area is it's own server or what if it is what that has to do with thinning other more crowded areas.
Go for it we use to lure raid bosses in an old game called Ferentus Back to town and slaughter everyone in town funny as hell although people today might get butthurt so :P
